Two of the wealthiest men in the world - that just happen to be Republican talking heads - hit the social media and television circuits this weekend - to give their two cents on the upcoming election in November.
First - we have Mr. Bad Hair Day himself THE Donald. This morning on Fox So-Called News' Fox and Friends, Trump told the show hosts that Chief Justice Roberts wanted to "be loved by the Washington establishment," and that's why he sided with the liberals in the Obamacare decision.
First - anyone in politics and political punditry knows that's absolutely wrong. But - since Trump said it - the hosts on Fox listened - and accepted the BS as they do oh so well.
But what's the bigger picture here? The fact of the matter is Donald Trump - despite having no background in politics - has become one of THE voices of the Republican party. He has somehow developed so much clout and power that hopeful Republican presidential nominees had to court his vote during the primary season - and Mitt Romney made a show out of his endorsement.
Bottom line Donald Trump knows nothing about politics and what America needs - and yet we and the mainstream media let him speak - and even worse - let him influence us. He cares about what keeps the most money in his pockets and that's it
Now - moving on to Rupert Murdoch - media mogul - billionaire - and owner of the Fox So-Called News media farce. Anyway - this weekend - Murdoch tweeted that he though Mitt Romney had no shot of beating President Obama unless he switched up his campaign staff and got some new faces in.
Again - this man knows nothing about politics - has never held a political office - and yet he still thinks people are going to listen to what he has to say. And the scary thing is - people do
Somehow - in America - the more money someone has - the more influence they get - whether it's deserved or not. And this HAS to change....
